Rise Up / 24K Gold, Fine & Sterling Silver, & Rough Labradorite Necklace

This necklace gave me a run for my money; I spent 5 days creating the first version only to uncover a fundamental flaw at the final moments (after keum booing.........). It was a rough blow--especially since I wasted precious materials (I'll find a way to use the scraps somehow but still..) and don't get paid for R&D. But, I dried my tears, ordered new materials and brought it back to life this week. I hope you love the result.
 
An elongated diamond-shaped hunk of flashy rough labradorite, cage set with sterling silver and one 14k gold prong, blasts from below into a pendant of fine silver. From the blast erupts an explosion of 24k gold keum boo tatters, whose gold remnants fan up and and out to the triple chains on both sides. Finished with black patinated backgrounds for ultimate contrast, this necklace is a bold, big, head-turning work of art that you just so happen to get to wear!!
